BAD ROCK B&B

Drive right up to Bad Rock B&B’s front door and look out at the great Swan Mountain Range, the first western range of the Rocky Mountains. Here the mountains reach elevations of 7,200 feet while in Glacier National Park they rise to over 10,000 feet. Arrival at Bad Rock B&B brings guests to the main house and its stunning example of architectural log and river rock design.

Most all guests at Bad Rock B&B come to experience Glacier National Park. In addition to an extensive collection of reference material on Montana and the Park, many of our guests said the Bad Rock library “has every conceivable map and guide book you would need to plan your time.” To experience the best of Bad Rock we will share the inside scoop from best hiking spots to the best local restaurants in the mountain town of Columbia Falls. Bad Rock B&B is one of a kind, especially when it comes to the BnB amenities, which include FREE rentals of bear spray, light weight wind/rain jackets for all guests and sizes, hiking poles, binoculars, water bottles, back packs, coolers and ice packs, etc…

Guests often gather for an impromptu social event in the living room at the house. There is a refrigerator at the bar that is kept stocked for the guests with soft drinks and fruit juices.

BREAKFAST

Bad Rock B&B has been described as “The farm to table style homemade breakfast.” Every morning starts out with fresh made coffee. We have two adjoining dining rooms accommodate 24 guests at three large tables, not including a private setting and outdoor dining tables, where breakfast is served. Breakfast is served Montana style, hearty, plentiful and delicious, from a collection of unique Bad Rock recipes. Each morning serves a different breakfast delight, which may include a combination of…Thick cut bacon, cage free eggs, sausage and potato casserole, oven baked blueberry breakfast cake, special homemade baked scones and muffins, and the guests’ favorite fluffy Belgium waffles heaped with strawberries and whipped cream. Guests are encouraged to linger at breakfast, where the conversations will likely center on yesterday’s hiking experiences, current activities at Glacier National Park, and the latest grizzly bear stories.
